Fugro Seacore has a specialist geotechnical division experienced in operating in the challenging nearshore environment. Our customised marine drilling equipment, which is designed, fabricated and operated by Fugro Seacore are fully containerise-able, and easily mobilised worldwide, providing flexible and efficient solutions to a multitude of clients. Recent contracts have included: Thames Tunnel ground investigations for Network Rail, Blackfriar's Bridge horizontal and vertical coring to establish Blackfriar's bridge foundations' structural integrity, and La Reunion ground investigations for a new overwater road's foundations.
Fugro Seacore Ltd designs, builds and operates all its own equipment, which includes a large range of jack up platforms, able to operate in waters depths up to 40m. Modular jackup platforms are designed to be fully containerisable and mobilised across the globe. We also own non-modular jack up barges which require towage to location, one of which has onboard accommodation.
